Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

This policy explains what Launchle collects when you play, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email wag3things@gmail.com.

What we collect

How we use it

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.

What other players can see

Your username (never your email) appears to friends, on today's friend comparison, and on the "best chains of all time" list if you make it. Words you play may appear anonymously in daily statistics (for example "most common first words"), and your full chain may appear next to your username on the all-time list.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run Launchle:

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use two essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and one that identifies a guest's game. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your sound setting is saved in your browser's local storage.

How long we keep it

Game history and accounts are kept while the account exists. Practice games are deleted after a week. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing wag3things@gmail.com from the address on your account; we'll do it within 30 days.

Your choices

Children

Launchle is meant for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll show a notice in the game.

This policy is a starting draft and should be reviewed by a lawyer before Launchle charges money or shows ads.
