These terms are the rules for using Launchle at launchle.space. By playing, you agree to them. Questions: wag3things@gmail.com.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use Launchle. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person.
• Give accurate information when you sign up.

Usernames and words

Your username and the words you play can be seen by other players. Don't use usernames or answers that are hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, that impersonate someone else, or that share anyone's personal information. We may change or remove usernames, remove answers from public lists, or block word links that break these rules.

Play fair

• Don't use bots, scripts or automated tools to play or to collect data from the site.
• Don't try to get around the timer, scoring, or limits, or interfere with the site or other players.
• Don't create multiple accounts to boost scores or manipulate which answers are accepted.

We may reset scores, remove results from leaderboards, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Scoring and answers

Scores, rarity levels and answer decisions come from word data and AI judgments, and can change as the game learns. They may sometimes be wrong. We may adjust past scores or rankings to correct mistakes, and our decisions on answers and scores are final.

Our content

The Launchle name, design, code and puzzles belong to us or our licensors. You may share your results and screenshots. Please don't copy the game itself or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Feedback

If you send ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Launchle without owing you anything.

No guarantees

Launchle is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of Launchle, and our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, for a free game, is zero).

Ending use

You can stop using Launchle and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll show a notice in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

These terms are a starting draft and should be reviewed by a lawyer before Launchle charges money or shows ads.
